Life stories
We have numerous stories of children from tragic backgrounds thriving in the childrens homes in Bapatla and Nidamarru, and emerging to start careers in a variety of fields. We are currently reviewing the sensitivity of the material to ensure that it is suitable for publication. In the meantime, here is a sample.
Henna was taken in as an extremely ill and abandoned little girl, She has qualified as a natural sciences teacher, is married and has a little boy Noah.
Jagan, a child of agricultural coolies joined at the age of 11, and progressed to college. He then secured an apprenticeship in the film industry as a multi-media technician (CGI graphics, etc), where he now works. The picture shows him giving his first month's pay to Hepsy for the childrens home.
Ram Babu lost his parents to AIDS and joined at the age of 11. He progressed through and completed the ITI programme as an electrician. Is now works as a CCTV installer.
